Deep Clean in Fall to Prepare for Winter

crosstowncleaning

Buildings in Minnesota tend to get sealed-up for the winter so it’s important to make sure they’re as clean as possible in the fall. Not only is it a chance to thoroughly sanitize, but it’s also important for your employees that have allergies. Here’s a quick checklist of things that should be done in your building before the temperatures plummet.

  • Clean windows

  • Deep clean both hard-surface and carpeted floors

  • Clean any upholstered furniture

  • Clean behind any stationary items like computers and printers in office spaces

  • Clean behind appliances or other large items in break rooms

  • Clean light fixtures – especially the tops of suspended lighting

  • Clean and sanitize bathrooms, breakrooms and other shared areas
